Robert L. Roberts Jr. of Easton, Maryland passed away Oct. 24,
2001 at the age of 81.
Bob enjoyed a lifelong hobby of building and showing steam
models. He and his wife, Edith, attended many shows displaying live
steam models he built, including his 2-inch scale Case steam
engine, Ferris wheel, merry-go-round and locomotive.
He was an active member of the Eastern Shore Threshermen &
Collectors Assoc, Inc., having served on the organization's
board of directors for 30 years. He also served as announcer during
the show.
He could always be found with his camera handy, enjoying another
of his hobbies, photography.
Along with the many steam shows he attended, he also enjoyed
sailing, model boating and Ham radio.
Besides his wife, Edith, he is survived by a son, Robert L.
Roberts, 111.
Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
